DESCRIPTION

Hospital-type mattresses are designed to prevent, limit, and delay the formation of pressure ulcers in bedridden patients or individuals who remain in bed for long periods of time. They can be used in hospitals or at home. They distribute pressure evenly across the body to prevent swelling and irritation. These products are suitable for patients at low to medium risk of developing pressure ulcers (Stage I to II), if healthcare personnel frequently reposition the patients.
